This page is designed to cover the questions you may have about ordering, how to make a payment and what is involved in shipping your order.  If after reading the information below, you still have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact us anytime.  Because we answer all your calls and emails personally, we assure you that all your questions will be addressed and all your concerns will be put to rest before you order.

Buying online from MauiLynn is easy and secure.  We do offer several ways that you can choose from, to make your payment, so if you dont have a charge card or dont have a pay pal account, you are not out of luck, we accept charge card payments over the phone and money orders and personal checks via US mail.  We will go over all the payment options with you,  and break it down for you below. 

METHODS OF PAYMENT:

We accept Charge Cards, Pay Pal, Money Orders and Personal Checks.

Paying through our site:

As of right now we only accept Pay Pal as a method of payment through the site, so if you would like to place your order totally through our site, these would be the only options:  If you do not have a Pay Pal account you may still pay by Credit Card, through the Pay Pal site, or if you have a Pay Pal account you may pay using your Pay Pal account, through our site. If you would like to pay through our site and have a credit card that you would like to use, you may proceed through the check out, and use pay pal as a method of sending payment with your charge card, even if you dont have a pay pal account personally, as the Pay Pal site will direct you on how to use your charge card for payment through their site.

We are currently working right now on adding the option of paying by credit card, through the website, so we hope to have this service available to our clients by the summer (2011).  In the meantime, take a look below at the other payment options that we accept, (including Charge Card payments over the phone).

  

Placing an order using a charge card, check or money order as payment:

We do also accept personal checks and money orders as a method of payment and we can take Credit Card payments over the phone as well. 

1. SENDING YOUR ORDER BY EMAIL:

If you would like to pay by Credit Card, Money Order or Check, you will need to send your order to us by email.  When we receive your order we will send you a confirmation email.  To send your order by email, please list your order, one item at a time, including, 1. the name of the item, 2. the item number, 3. the price, and 4.the quantity of each item.  Please include all your contact information: name, shipping address, email and phone number in your email, and how you would like to pay (ie: check/money order or charge card over phone).  We do not recommend sending your charge card information over the  internet, so if you wish to pay using your charge card, please email us first with your order and then call us with your charge card information. 

2. SENDING PAYMENT:

If you are paying by sending a money order or check, you may send it to us via US mail, to PO Box 5998, Goodyear, Arizona, 85338, and make it payable to Maui Originals.   NOTE: All orders will be shipped out after payment is received and clears.

If you wish to pay using your credit card, please follow the email/order instructions in the above paragraph, and then once we have recieved your order you can call us with your credit card information, which we can process over the phone.   Our phone number is 602-469-0197 . An email confirmation will be sent out once payment is recieved.  Orders paid by credit card will be sent out after payment is approved, this is quicker than paying by check or money order.

 

HOW TO ORDER THROUGH THE SITE:

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS FOR ORDERING THROUGH OUR SITE:   As you shop and find the item you would like to purchase, click on that item.  The site will take you to a new page. This page will show you pictures of the item, as well as the item number, detailed description, the shipping charges and the cost of that item.  You will see a pink link that says “add to cart” and a box that says “quantity” with a 1 next to it. This is where you may choose the quantity of that item, that you would like to order, you may change the quantity number if desired.  (PLEASE NOTE: We are working on getting a shipping calculator within the site, to help with shipping charges on larger orders, because our sites program adds a shipping charge to each item.  Therefore we do suggest that if you are ordering more than two items that you contact us personally, by email or phone, with your order, as we can calculate your shipping costs for you on a large order, and save a lot of money on shipping for you, instead of letting the site program charge you seperatly for each item.)  When you have decided you want to order an item and how many of that item you want, you can now click the “add to cart” pink button.  You will know that your item has been added to the shopping cart because you wil see an “updating cart” msg next to the “add to cart” button.   At this time you can continue shopping by clicking on another link in the store site (ie: accessories, shoes etc), this will take you back into the site to continue shopping and your cart will be saved.  When you are ready to check out you may click the “check out” button on the right side of the screen, or you may check out by hitting the pink button link, at the top right of the page, that says “number of items” (this is your shopping cart link).  Both these links will take you to your shopping cart, where you can manage your order, see your total for both the order and for shipping (once again, the shipping is calculated per item right now, so if you have multiple items-more than 2,  in your cart, the shipping will be a considerable amount and usually we can drastically reduce that by having you contact us personally with your order, by either email or phone).  This page will ask you for your Billing/Shipping info. After completing the required fields, click on the pink “make purchase” button, this will take you to the pay pal log in page, where you will either choose to pay by credit card through Pay Pal (which you can do even if you don’t have a Pay Pal account) or you may pay using your pay pal account.

SHIPPING

Please allow us to choose the best method of shipping, depending on where you are located, and the weight and size of your package.  Most of our packages are shipped via US Postal Service, and arrive within a week of shipping, however shipping transit times vary depending on the distance from our shipping facility.  (Some larger packages may be shipped via UPS ground).

Orders are usually shipped out from our facility, within 2-3 business days of when the order is completed (which inculdes waiting for payment clearance).  Once payment has cleared, most orders will be shipped out within 2-3 business days, business days being Mon-Friday.  Please note that the 2-3 business days stated, is the time that it takes before your order leaves our facility after payment is made, not the shipping transit time.  When using Pay Pal  or Charge Cards as a method of payment, the payment is usually processed immediately, allowing the order to be shipped quicker than the orders that are paid using a money order or check, and orders paid by check or money order, will not be shipped out until the funds clear, therefore taking longer to ship out.  Please allow 3-5 days processing during the busy Holiday Seasons. 

EXPEDITED SHIPPING:

You may choose to expedite the shipping on your package, but in this case you must call in your order to do so, so that we can calculate the expedited shipping for your order.  Please contact us if you wish to have your order shipment expedited and we can tell you the best way to get it there the fastest.

MauiLynn sends out a confirmation email once the order is shipped, confirming that it has been shipped out.

SHIPPING OUTSIDE THE US:

We can ship to Alaska, Hawaii and Canada for an additional $5.00.  You may either contact us by email with your order, at which time we can give you a total on your shipping, or if you are using the site to place your order and are paying through Pay Pal, after completing the checkout and payment process, we will send you a payment request after your order is completed, for the additional shipping charges. After these shiping charges have been paid, your package will be shipped out.
